Adam's presets for the Prepar3D Tweak Assistant (PTA).
PTA and P3Dv4
I've now upgraded to P3Dv4 + PTA2.51. However - neither of the two texture systems that I use (REX/TD and FEX) have been updated for P3Dv4 yet, so the 25_01 preset has been tweaked for DEFAULT P3Dv4 skies/cloud textures.
For those people still using FEX, you can point it at P3Dv4 and (selectively) install clouds or skies - but don't install any water-related stuff.
Presets for Yuri/Matt's excellent shaders tool (for P3D only) with natural and balanced palettes that work across all times of the day, all seasons and all sky/cloud textures (regardless of which program is used to generate them).
Using different PTA presets to cover all seasonal variations would require frequent P3D restarts and rebuilds of the shaders cache, so the convenience of using a single "all-season" preset outweighs the apparent compromise.
Much of my time in P3D is over predominantly blue/green New Zealand, so these presets may not suit the drier, redder areas - though they shouldn't be that far off (see Customising below).
Preset filenames indicate the main PTA version (XX) and preset number (YY), in the form Adam_PTA_XX_YY.zip. Don't use presets for different or non-matching *main* PTA versions, as parameters may have been added, renamed or even removed. Using presets for different PTA *sub* versions (eg. PTA 2.10, PTA 2.11) is fine.
ALL these presets require HDR mode in P3D to be enabled (newer presets have the recommended HDR settings hard-coded in the "Tweak main config" section). HDR can be tweaked "live" in P3D to suit user preferences or weather conditions, but bear in mind that even small changes in HDR values can have significant effects on final output.
Sky textures have a HUGE impact on the overall palette in P3D (on sky, terrain and even aircraft) so, if you are using dynamic texture generation (AS or ASN etc.), you may occasionally get some odd looking results. For this reason, I prefer a fixed day texture set for the full 10-day cycle. I use OPUS Live Weather to vary the weather system only (ie. cloud coverage, visibility etc. - no changes to textures), giving me plenty of variation without disturbing the overall colour balance.
I combine REX/Texture Direct (sky, ground, water) with FEX (clouds):
REX Sky textures: Dawn: 22 Chill | Day: 14 Fair | Dusk 03 Dust.
This presumes you already have a fully working version of PTA on your system. If starting totally from scratch, please check out Matt's site (and the Avsim forums) for fresh install instructions.
It may take a while for the textures/shaders to rebuild the first time you run P3D after a preset change - this is normal.

Changes from Adam_PTA_21_11:
This is very much a "work in progress" preset for P3Dv4 and Matt's new PTA 2.51. As yet, neither of the two texture systems that I use (REX or FEX) have been updated for P3Dv4, so this preset is more or less the old 21_11 but tweaked for DEFAULT P3Dv4 sky/cloud textures.
